Today I set up my "creative zone" in our apartment (thanks for putting together my new desk, sweet G!). A friend recently asked if I had a creative zone in my new space - I surprised myself that not only I didn't have one, I didn't realize or remember how necessary this is. I've missed getting into my creative zone with all that's going on, so I searched obsessively for the perfect desk. I finally found the West Elm Mini Parsons desk. I did my happy dance when I saw my space all set up! It's a message to my artist and designer self that I'm taking care of those parts of myself and will continue to nurture them.
