Lucky little drink coasters by Silver Trailer
You just never know...

I participated in the vintage trailer show during Modernism Week in Palm Springs this past February. During the event a woman asked me if she could have my last Silver Trailer drink coaster. Of course she could. Well, that same fabulous woman hung on to that coaster, and it reminded her of my '62 Bambi when she needed an Airstream for a prop in ABC's Family Christmas video shoot. And the rest is history.
We were in Hollywood for five days as a snow scene was built on set around my little Bambi. I came away from the shoot completely inspired about the scale and scope of the creative imagination put to action.
Think about it... a snow scene in L.A... in September!
Silver Trailer's Airstream Bambi on the set
Everyone on the set was wonderful and oozing with creativity and MacGyver-esque solutions to building props. I felt like I was at Hollywood Prop Camp, and I was loving every minute of it. I'm looking forward to future opportunities with my silver babies in the spotlight.
Look out silver screen, you're our next stop...!

Hollywood was once the mecca of film and television production, today most major studios and television networks have moved out of Hollywood to build expansive studio back lots where land was more accessible in all areas of Los Angeles.
