bambi at the wedding

Thursday, September 24, 2009

Jamie & Mahala got married last weekend! They are my Lotus friends, very close to my heart. Their ceremony was Native American influenced and it was magical. Each of the guests offered a "blessing" of a feather (loyalty), stone (strength) or a wrapped bundle of corn (fertility). What a special day it was and so fun to plan with Mahala along the way. Jamie's best buddy from back east stayed in my Bambi during his visit. At the reception he told me all of the things he loved about my silver baby in great detail. There is something about true appreciation that really goes along way. I knew that he and my Bambi were bonding. That was the theme of the weekend, families and friends coming together, some for the first time, and appreciating and noticing all of the wonderful details in each other. Here's to a lifetime of celebrating the beautiful details, M & J!

I'm the guy who stayed in the Bambi. I'm back in Maryland now, but I do miss my nights in the Bambi. I enjoyed the use of your Airstream thoroughly. The attention to detail was wonderful. The bed was comfortable too. I wish there were more photos of it on your website. I've been sending links to my friends. As soon as I get a chance I'm putting some photos I took of the trailer on facebook. I'll also link to your site.
Thank you so much for letting me stay in your Bambi. The wedding was truly magical, as you said, as was the rest of my time in Lotus, and you helped make it a little extra special. It was great meeting you. Keep up the great work. As soon as I win the lottery, I'll be knocking on your door with an Airstream for you to perform your magic on.

Wolfgang!

You have a silver nest to sleep in anytime you come back to Lotus.
Your added a great love & happy energy to the wedding. Great speech too!

Thanks for the kind words about my Bambi, she misses you!
I'm looking forward to seeing your photos & you've motivated me to add more images to my website.

Take care & hope we see you & the family out west soon...
