mr. mayor in my airstream

Sunday, December 7, 2008

Oh what a night. What do you get when you place a shiny Airstream trailer on Hayes Street, (one of San Francisco's hippest shopping areas), throw in amazing artists from the Shipyard displaying their work in a gallery inside, great people strolling by, and a visit by the mayor Gavin Newsom and his beautiful wife, Jennifer? One of my best trailer moments.
It was a blast in my "VIP" silver trailer studio. Ron Obregon belted out Sinatra songs and everyone joined in. Just as I stated the record capacity for my 24' Airstream was 15 people, 3 more folks filed in. Okay, make the new record 18 people! The cherry on top? Arriving at home with my man, G at 1:30am, stepping out of the truck and looking up at a blanket of stars with the sound of the river rapids in the background. And I wispered aloud, "Wow, life is grand".
