vintage trailer rally

Monday, October 20, 2008

Now that's what I call a rally. Hitched up the trailer, loaded up the pup, drove 1 mile down the road, over the one lane bridge, unhitched and joined about 30 other vintage trailers at the Coloma Resort on the banks of the American River. The rally was a Tin Can Tourist event. It's refreshing to see all different makes and models of trailers from the 1930's and beyond. Great people who all share the same passion; we "get" each other. I took photos from the Coloma Bridge and marveled at how beautiful the place I call home really is.

Those trailers are SO COOL! Can a total stranger come see and take pictures at a trailer gathering? I wanna I wanna! What an amazing portable studio!

Hylla,
Cool, right?! Most gatherings you're more than welcome to come & see, this one in particular, it's good if you know someone ;) .
I'll give you a heads up on the next one in the spring.
