Happy Chinese New Year friends!

I'm lucky to be in Las Vegas this New Year. Vibrant red lanterns hang throughout the casino, miniature orange trees with red envelopes hanging from the branches, and an intoxicating lion dance through the hotel yesterday. This is the year of the Ox and it is said that it is a time to be gentle and kind. It's a time of strength, power, hard work, duty and discipline. Success is attained through diligent labor and conscientious effort. Sounds good to me. I hope this new year is a great one for you and your family.

Remember, with all of the predictions for this year of the Earth Rat, staying positive is always a good approach.
I want to give a shout out to Jay's mom, Jing Mei. Since two years old, Jing has taught me so many things. Chinese brush painting, how to make wontons, the fun of dancing with a puppy, the excitement of little red envelopes, endless generosity, to remember to laugh- even when you're feeling down, and deep loyalty to friends and family. I love you Jing!
